Story of a Woman Entrepreneur – SAREE GAATHA | A Fashion Tribute
DIGILOOM showcased its latest Collection of Handloom Sarees recently with a fashion show themed ‘SAREE GAATHA – Story of a Woman Entrepreneur’. The show was a part of ‘CWE U.P. Iconic Woman Entrepreneur Awards 2019’ held at Hotel Renaissance in Lucknow.
From Grit to Glory.. DIGILOOM beautifully depicted the journey of a woman entrepreneur at the recently organized fashion show. The show had women achievers from Uttar Pradesh walking the ramp along with models, in a range of exquisite Handloom Sarees by DIGILOOM.
The show ended with four girls showcasing the Handloom Jute Silk Sarees that is a part of DIGILOOM ANCHAL initiative. With this initiative every time someone PURCHASE a handloom Saree from DIGILOOM, they DONATE one saree to the needy.
About DIGILOOM ANCHAL Initiative
From music to voiceover.. audio visuals to choreography.. everything was well thought out and helped in carrying the story forward. The butterfly headgear (symbolic of a woman catapulting into a successful entrepreneur) on models added drama and theatrics to the whole show.
The show was conceptualised and directed by Anuj Singh and Basant Rai, founder partners of DIGILOOM. Apparently, this was their first fashion show in 7 years as a fashion director.
